Hazard: The extension cords and power strips have inadequate coating material around the cords and copper conductors that are smaller than required, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

To this date, the company has not received any reports of injury associated with the recalled power cords.

Brightway heavy duty outdoor extension cords and Brightway indoor extension cords and power strips are involved in the recall.

Model numbers affected by the recall are:

The recalled extension cords should not be used to avoid injury. They can be returned to any store of purchase for a refund.
