Toy Jewelry Sets Recalled For Excessive Lead

Playmates Toys, in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, announced a voluntary recall of Children’s Toy Jewelry sets due to excessive levels of lead.

Exposure to lead has been shown to cause brain and kidney damage, especially in young children.

To this date, there have been no reports of illness associated with the recalled products.

The recall involves charms sold with the Tiny Tink and Friends toy jewelry sets for children. The toy jewelry sets were sold in several styles, which are listed below with corresponding item and UPC numbers, as well as descriptions:
